Our Story

reThink Social Development Limited is a Jamaica-based social research organisation committed to delivering pragmatic, evidence-based solutions to complex social issues. Guided by a facts-first approach, we support decision-makers by evaluating the impact of policies, programmes, and projects on people — helping to shape timely, responsive actions that lead to tangible social change and improved public well-being.

Founded in 2012 by Principal Consultant Carol Watson-Williams — a seasoned social policy analyst and researcher with over two decades of experience — reThink has worked across the Caribbean. From education and health to gender, labour, and national security, our work spans key development sectors. We apply a rights-based lens to every project, using data to inform policy, improve human services, and elevate lives.
